Withdrawing your registration
You can withdraw your registration at any time during the ballot process in
ImmiAccount.

Stay lawful
A registration in the PEV ballot is not a visa application.
If your visa is about to expire, you must apply for another visa to remain in Australia lawfully.
Submitting a registration does not mean you will get a bridging visa.
You are only eligible for a bridging visa after you are selected in the ballot and apply for the visa.
Ballot Selection process
You can see the status of each ballot in the PEV Country Ballot Status table.
We will show the ballot selection period (open and close dates) for when the random selection of registrations will occur for each participating country ballot on the
PEV Country Ballot Status page.
We will select registrations at random for each participating country in the ballot process.
We cannot give you information about the status of your ballot. We will tell you if you are successful in the ballot.
After the ballot selection process is shown as Expired no further registrations will be selected.
If you are successful in the ballot
If you are randomly selected in the ballot we will send you a Notification of Selection letter. This letter will have a link and details on how to apply for a
Pacific Engagement (subclass 192) visa.
You will have 120 calendar days from the date of selection to complete and submit a visa application online. You must apply for the visa on or before the date specified in your notification letter. We cannot accept your application if you try to apply after this date. You can find more information on the Pacific Engagement (subclass 192) visa Eligibility page.
You must complete the visa application using the same passport that you used to register in the ballot.
If your passport expires between the time of registration and time of visa application, you must let us know. You can tell us about your change in passport details via ImmiAccount. For more information see You have a new passport.
You must submit your visa application using the link provided to you in the notification email or through your ImmiAccount. Make sure you submit your application on time so you do not miss out.
If you are unsuccessful in the ballot
If you are not randomly selected in the ballot you cannot apply for the Pacific Engagement (subclass 192) visa.
Ballot Registration Expiry
Your registration will expire after we finalise the ballot selection process.
If the status of your registration in ImmiAccount is ‘expired’, it means that you are no longer registered in the ballot.
You may be able to register in the next ballot process if you still meet the eligibility requirements.
