Pacific Engagement visa (subclass 192)

This visa allows people of Pacific island countries and Timor-Leste to live and work in Australia permanently.

​Up to 3,000 visas will be allocated to eligible Pacific island and Timor Leste nationals each year. You can find out more about why we have introduced this visa at  The Pacific Engagement Visa – Australia’s new permanent visa.

The Pacific Engagement visa pre-application ballot for Pacific island and Timor-Leste nationals opened for registrations on 3 June 2024 and have now closed to all new registrations​

You can only submit a Pacific Engagement (subclass 192) visa application if you are selected in the ballot and invited to apply for the visa.​
