International movement records show your entries and exits from Australia. It will not show which countries you travelled to or from. To get this information, contact the relevant authority of the country that you visited.
If you need movement records from before 1981 you will need to contact the
National Archives of Australia.
Use this online request form if you are seeking:
- your own international movements record (s) (where the request includes records after 1981)
- another person’s international movements record (s) (where the request includes records after 1981) and you have their consent
Do not submit a separate request for every passport you have held, even if you have passports issued by different countries. We will provide Australian movement records across all of your passports (current and old).
