Your EOI will remain active in SkillSelect for 2 years from when you submit it. During this time we may invite you to apply for a visa.

Keep your EOI up to date

You can access and update your EOI any time before you receive an invitation to apply for a visa.

Make sure you update your details if your circumstances change, as this may affect your points score.

Update your EOI if you have:

• new work experience
  
• received a higher education qualification
• improved your English language proficiency
• obtained a new skills assessment.

You also need to update your EOI if the structure of your family has changed, for example if you have had a baby.

You can’t update your EOI if you have already received an invitation to apply for a visa.
