Domestic and family violence and your visa

We can support victims of domestic and family violence by helping them with their visa status.

Relationship evidence

We may ask you to give us evidence to show you were in a relationship with your former partner or spouse. This is so we can assess your claim for the family violence provisions.

We understand it can be difficult to gather this information about your relationship. We will give you more time to submit these documents if you need it.
