About the Digital Assistant
Our Digital Assistant aims to help clients by answering visa, citizenship, border and trade enquiries, making it easier and faster to find information on our website.
The Digital Assistant uses artificial intelligence-based software to ‘learn’ from each interaction and provide you with an answer based on the words contained in your question.
Using the Digital Assistant
You can access the Digital Assistant by selecting the Ask a question tab at the bottom of the screen.
You can ask the Digital Assistant any question. If it can’t give you an answer, it may:
- ask you to rephrase your question
- suggest topics you may be asking about
- ask you for more details.
You can also try:
- avoiding abbreviations
- breaking down a complex question into smaller questions
- using our website search function
- removing personal information such as reference numbers, identity information or contact details.
The Digital Assistant cannot give you information on your visa or citizenship application. You can check the status of your application by logging into ImmiAccount or you can use VEVO to check your visa status and conditions.
