Establish your identity

Have your passport or travel document ready before you contact us.

We will ask you a number of questions to establish your identity. We need to establish your identity to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 before discussing or updating your record, this includes if you're authorised to act on behalf of someone.

We cannot discuss your migration matter with an un-authorised third party without your permission. To give permission you need to submit​ the relevant 956 Form.
