The Department of Home Affairs has launched a website translation service on an initial limited number of pages. A language selector will appear at the top right-hand corner of pages that are translated.

‘Criminal Record’ also known as a criminal conviction history.
The Department of Home Affairs will initiate your request for a criminal record check.
If you have not given us consent in your online application form, you need to complete the Consent to Exchange Criminal Record Check Information form.
You must attach this to your online application. For information on how to attach documents, see Applying online in ImmiAccount. If you applied on paper, a case officer will contact you directly to ask for your consent.
We may ask you to give us more documents if you have any convictions of concern.
If you are a New Zealand citizen with criminal convictions you must contact the Australian High Commission before you travel to Australia. You will need to get written confirmation from us. This is regardless of how long ago your convictions were or if they have been removed from government records.
